Imagine
my surprise when I discovered that Katie Mettner posted her review of “How Did
We Become Angry? Biblical Recovery for Women Suffering from Trauma & Abuse”,
which is available in Kindle during the time I was promoting her latest, and
think her best fiction thus far on this blog.
So,
as a fitting tribute to Katie’s writing prowess, and because this review is one
of my faves, here’s what she said, “I had the opportunity to read How Did We
Become Angry?, and I was surprised by how easy the book was to read, and how
well the author put Scripture into the book to show you exactly what she means
with her ideas. There is something every one of us has to deal with in our
lives that left us angry, sad or traumatized. Often our self-esteem is
destroyed before we are even old enough to understand what it means, and that
can begin a life of bad decisions as we look for someone, or something to make
us feel worthy. I know this is the first of several books, and I look forward to
the next one and reading from the Scriptures the author picks for it.
If
you are on a journey to let go of your anger and move on with a positive, self-accepting
life, I highly recommend this book. http://amzn.to/1gljnYV
