Help for The Invisible Wounded Ones Now .99 Cents

You might have noticed, as I did, that my recent posts are reaching a very large audience, but no one’s leaving a comment. However, knowing that when it comes to owning the reality of their situation the abused become ‘shadow people’, who fade into the woodwork where it’s safe that not only makes sense, it is their norm. Both hearing and feeling every wrong, but pretending that wrong isn’t, it’s no wonder that their fear filled reality would cause them to remain silent and not post a comment. Sadly those very ones who need the LAMB Ministries teaching might, due to their fear of horrid repercussions least that book be found, never buy one.

This is where you come in, for just as Messiah (Christ) told us to go to all nations and proclaim forgiveness in Him, since each of us may be the only safe person the abused may know, it is through your wise council and biblical coaching that recovery can begin.

I know this to be true because while trying to handle a situation I had not created, a situation that did not involve me, but one that was having a negative impact on my family that I came to Messiah (Christ) broken and in need, and He healed me “In His Time”.

If you know someone that needs your help, please know that I am praying for you.
And if you think “How Did We Become Angry?” will help you, help them, the link is:

LAMB Ladies Heal "In His (God's) Time"

I'd love to begin this post by telling you that the first LAMB Ministries book is now on sale for .99 cents, and that you can get your copy at:  http://t.co/OsVRVeSpfZ but that doesn't seem right. Then again, if you've been coming here to get a little of what I learned and now teach, it would seem odd if I didn't tell you, so please consider yourself told! Now on to today’s post titled:

LAMB Ladies Heal "In His (God's) Time"
When I think about all the wounded ones, I remember how I felt when I first heard and then learned to sing the song this post derived its title from. Though my mom told me that I couldn’t carry a tune and had no rhythm, and I’d believed her, hearing this song and knowing I was one voice in many praising our Lord gave me the courage I lacked to sing.

And an amazing thing happened, which I didn’t know about until worship ended, and I found myself surrounded by others telling me that I had a lovely voice. Imagine that, I thought, something about me is lovely.

And something, in fact many something’s about you is lovely too! I know that because God made everything and called it "good". Since He planned and thought about you since before the world was formed, He called YOU "good" too! I hope you spend today thinking about Gods affirmation, for no one knows and loves you as He does.

If you need help, or someone you care about does please let them know that the first LAMB Ministry book, "How Did We Become Angry", which includes "The Kindness Principal" is on sale for .99 cents from now through next Thursday. And remember that what the world and some in it call horrid God calls blessed, so that’s what we are!

Please enjoy this reminder of God's perfect timing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo-rGzx2OZk

Now $.99 cent! “How Did We Become Angry? Biblical Recovery for Women Suffering from Trauma and Abuse” is available at: http://amzn.to/1gljnYV

Knowing that the abused women I worked with didn’t like charity because they feared there were strings attached, and being very aware that some, though not abused, who wanted the book wouldn’t or couldn’t spend much, I arranged an Amazon Count Down Event so that “How Did We Become Angry? Biblical Recovery for Women Suffering from Trauma and Abuse” could be bought for a few days for $.99 cents. The one week countdown has begun, so please go over and download this book as soon as you are able.

On a personal note, though I know it is hard for those who are feeling needy to post, and some fear saying anything may place them in peril if you need prayer, or wish to connect with me, you can do so here, or leave a comment on Amazon. If you do, I promise I will respond to you dear heart.

If you feel wounded but think this isn't you, you may be in denial, so please listen to this trailer.

Child Abuse Prevention Month Ends - The Issue Continues

In Governments and many in office believe that by proclaiming something should be prevented it will be. Sadly this, I believe is the case with the well-intended, Child Abuse Prevention Month, which ended yesterday. Over and over again ‘We The People’ fail when we try to legislate behavior, which for centuries was considered the norm.

More sadder still is the reality that what goes on behind closed doors is seldom spoken of due to the belief that it will only make matters worse. When we understand that the abuser was most likely abused and needing to make sense of the situation saw two choices: either bond with the abuser and survive, or bond with the abuse and die a little as the abuse escalated we realize that both are trapped and the cycle once set in motion feels like this:

1.      Things seem normal
2.      Stress occurs
3.      The abuser gets agitated
4.      The abused withdraws
5.      The abuser feels their needs are not getting meet
6.      The abused does something that triggers the abused
7.      The abuser tells the one they abused that what happened was their fault
8.      The abused  believes them
9.      The abused tries to be perfect so the abuser won’t hurt them again
10.  Tension builds
11.  Fearing the tension, the abused will often inadvertently do something to trigger the abuser

Much like the “Dance Macabre” in which horrid injury and death are depicted these people find themselves trapped. But unlike the dance I mentioned above, which has a beginning and an end, for many that are abused the abuse does not end until they die, and should the abuser loss their victim they will find another one.

I’m telling you about this, so you’ll know that abuse is not an individual but systemic issue. Once you change everything changes.

Unlike the centuries when children and women were thought of as chattel, and treated as slaves, today your can claim your right to be YOU. As you walk toward healing and ultimately begin to own yourself, I want you to know that you are a unique person. By the mere act of existing, you have been given the innate capacity to know and become. For you the first step in becoming is in owning what was, understanding that though you may have triggered events you’re not responsible for the abuse, and learning to say no. I wrote “NO” because the downtrodden become emotional and physical doormats for the world. Just the thought of saying “NO” may make you feel like you are going to die. But you won’t. In fact saying that one word will help the knot in your gut unwind.

If you're feeling as fearful as I was, take heart for in Mathew 28:20 Jesus says, "...I am with you always, to the very end of the age" meaning He is with those who have claimed Him until He comes again to be with us forever.

Your self talk does not need to continue your feelings of hating yourself as the trailer below says. You can move away from that pain and begin a new life, as you own your own person-hood today!

Biblical Recovery for Women a Best Seller? “How Did We Become Angry?” Lauded by Amazon!

Can a book about how to recover from trauma and abuse by using Scripture and prayer become an Amazon Best Seller and be named a New Hot Book? Yes it can! And more importantly, YES, we abused women can overcome because Messiah made it possible once and for all, for He has become our peace…our shalom. And we are the heirs of His everlasting covenant which He secured for us by being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, being crucified, and on the third day being resurrected for us so we could proclaim to the world as He did, “It is finished!”

We, like Him can claim, “It is finished, and mean, I am done with fear, pain and disowning who we are to fit into a family system that doesn’t uphold the rights of each person to individuate. I am done with pretending that being in emotional turmoil or physical pain is something that’s normal. In other words, today, I am claiming that I am a unique person, fearfully and wonderfully created by God and as such I have the right to be me!”

Want to put an end to your pain and see how Messiah (Jesus) will use it for His gain? Think it can't be done? Follow me and see that with Jesus all this and more is possible when you believe because He is really real!

Life is Defined by Choices, Make None and…

With the release of, “How Did We Become Angry? Biblical Recovery for Women Suffering from Trauma & Abuse”, which is a Christian self-help book, those who’ve read my sweet Christian romances with a Messianic twist and a hint of history asked me why I have written in two such dissimilar genres. Today, I’m posting the answer I’ve given them, which I tweeted this morning.

As the title of this blog says, I believe that life is defined by our choices. For me this means that the life I live, I try to live as Messiah (Christ) did in that I am what I say I am, and do what I say I’ll do.

For those who have been abused this act of congruency is not something they saw growing up, so it is frightening to act in accord with values and feelings that are hidden. My fictional heroine, Naomi grew up in a place where generations of her people we taught to disown themselves just like all who are abused do. We need to overcome!!Think that can’t be done? Think again! Father Abraham did it, Moses did it, a shepherd boy named David did it, Daniel did it, Nehemiah did it, and our high priest who stands at the right hand of God interceding for those who have claimed atonement in him; yes even Jesus did it!

The question that no one has asked thus far, is one I’ll answer today, ie. “Is there a difference between the generational fear that causes people to teach each generation to hide, and individual fear generated by a particular issue, person, or situation?”

The answer is a universal, “No! There is no difference. At its root fear occurs where God is not present, and His Word is not studied. Where God is sovereign, fear which is the antithesis of God’s shalom His peace which transcends all human understanding changes our reaction, cannot be understood or entered into. Thus choosing to believe that with God all things are possible, we, the abused have purposed a new life based on the future instead of being trapped by the past.
